When will it be?
The suggested date is June 5th - 6th 2010.
Where will it be?
Based from the Hillspring Lodge Hostel in Willesden, but taking in some of the
sights of London. All rooms are only four beds, and Hostel only opened in
November 2009.
It has been visited it and it is very modern and suitable for our needs.

What will it involve?
The planned programme is as follows:-
Saturday
Everyone make their own way to Hostel in London (so if season ticket holders
there is no cost for them).
Late morning - Split into mixed teams from various
different Scout Groups (so forced to work together), to take part in a Monopoly
Run Challenge.
This is where you have to go around London and get
as many photos of your group under\next to the street signs and stations from a
monopoly board.
A time is set when you have to return by.
Evening - BBQ on the Terrace of the Hostel, followed by a
quiz - mixed into different Teams again.
Then free time to relax in the bar or lounge.
Sunday
Morning – depending on final numbers one of the following.
The Canal Boat can only take a maximum of 36.
London Legends Tour
Be Amazed! The Beatles almost arrested, TV born in a
backstreet, Jimi Hendrix's last gig, tickets for the ill-fated Titanic - it's
strange, it's true, it's Rock 'n' Roll!
Jason’s Canal Boat Cruise
The tour runs between Jason's Wharf in Little
Venice and Cafe Crema in Camden. It takes about forty-five minutes each way. On
the leg from Little Venice up to Camden there is a live commentary from our
trained guides who will tell you all about the canal's history from 1800 to the
present day.
Afternoon - Go Home
What will the cost be?
It will be no more than £35 per person, plus your own
travelling expenses to get there and for getting around London while playing
Monopoly.
A one day zone 1 – 2 card is only £5.60.
How do we book a place?
Before we confirm the Hostel and make other bookings I need
to know how many people are interested.
Please bring this up with the leaders in your group
and find out how many would go.
